The City of Playford have announced that community consultation is now open for their ‘Picture Playford 2043’ campaign.

This campaign is surrounding the future vision for Playford by picturing a “vibrant CBD with a thriving mix of retail and community activity”. The City of Playford is proposing the revocation of Community Land alongside Main North Road in Elizabeth and Elizabeth East. This proposal is in order to allow development of “a more attractive and green entrance corridor”.

On the internet listing for community consultation it reads: “The City of Playford proposes to undertake this revocation to consider selling this land to create opportunities for development disposal opportunities in line with the overall Playford Community Vision 2043”.

Further information regarding the proposals are available online and in person at various Council locations with a community drop in session currently proposed for July 5th 2021.
